There’s an adage that says if you want to measure how good a leader you are look at the people who choose to follow you. My approach to developing leaders is to help them to become people others will want to follow. Leadership should be about one thing; achieving results, to achieve this though you need to be somebody your people want to follow.
Can we learn to lead this way? Well that’s really up to you, in my 10 years of training & developing leaders I find the best leaders are the best learners. They are always looking for new and better ways of doing things, they see the value of change and know how to share this.
